The 5th generation Dot is slightly heavier than its predecessor, weighing in at 340g compared to the 328g of the 4th generation. Additionally, both generations have the same dimensions (100 x 100 x 89mm), so there is no change in the size

Another significant difference is the speaker size. The 5th generation Dot comes with a 1.73in speaker, while the 4th generation Dot has a 1.6in speaker. This means the 5th generation Dot can produce louder and clearer sound than the 4th generation.

The 5th generation Dot also comes with new features that the 4th generation doesn't have. The most notable new feature is the temperature sensor which allows you to check the temperature of the room where the Dot is located.
